New data visualizations show how stay-at-home orders impact travel

If there’s not a stay-at-home order… people won’t stay at home. The New York Times published stunning data visualizations today showing how stay-at-home orders have impacted travel. States that put in place such orders have experienced substantial declines. While travel has dropped across the country, it’s much higher in states that haven’t put orders in place (like Florida, which only issued an order on Wednesday).
