When Should the Incarcerated Get Vaccinated?

There’s much discussion around how Covid-19 vaccines should be distributed once approved. People at a high risk for Covid-19 tend to be at the front of the list, including health care workers and residents and employees of long-term care facilities. There are also plenty of other essential workers. But what about prison inmates? As the New York Times reports, incarcerated people are currently not highly ranked for vaccines even though many large outbreaks have started in prisons. Read more below.
