Are T-cells a missing key? T-cells can enhance the activities of certain immune cells while also having the ability to kill infected cells. Scientists have been curious about whether T-cells could be important for fighting the virus that causes Covid-19. Recently, a few studies have suggested that people who get infected with Covid-19 have T-cells that target the virus and may help them recover from the disease.
