This Skin-Like Wearable That Tracks Covid-19

As Emily Mullin reports for Future Human, researchers at Northwestern University are working on a Covid-19 wearable that looks similar to a Band-Aid and is placed on a person’s neck. The device continuously measures body temperature, heart rate, and respiratory activity — including coughing. The data would be shared with a person’s doctor, and the hope is that it would allow physicians to pick up on early signs of a Covid-19 infection. So far it is being tested on health care workers.
