- Case count: There are over 3.4 million confirmed cases in the U.S. and over 13.3 million confirmed cases worldwide. So far over 136,400 Americans have died from Covid-19. There are surely more.
- Walmart will require customers to wear masks: The rule will apply to all of its Walmart stores and Sam’s Club stores. The move makes Walmart the largest retailer to institute the policy. It will go into effect on Monday.
- Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt tests positive for Covid-19: He is isolating and says he feels fine but is a little achy.
- Hospital data to bypass the CDC: The New York Times reports that the Trump administration has ordered hospitals to bypass the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and send all coronavirus information to a central database in Washington. The decision has alarmed the agency and public health experts. Read more.
