Here’s what else is new:
- Case count: There are over 9.3 million confirmed cases in the U.S. and over 47.6 million confirmed cases worldwide. So far over 232,700 Americans have died from Covid-19.
- The Covid-19 death toll among nurses is now as high as World War I: The International Council of Nurses confirms that 1,500 nurses have died from Covid-19 in 44 countries and estimates that healthcare worker fatalities worldwide could be more than 20,000.
