Optimizing Your Home for Pandemic Life

For most people with the privilege of working from home during the pandemic, life has become increasingly constrained by the walls of one’s own living space. As Emily Anthes, author of the book The Great Indoors, explains in a new Elemental story, indoor living can be optimized to be healthier, happier, and more restorative. The best way to do so is to bring the outdoors inside, but that doesn’t necessarily mean loading up on houseplants (though they can help). Inviting nature, daylight, and fresh air into your home can also help change it for the better.
