What do you do if you think you or your loved one have symptoms of Covid-19? The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) launched a bot you can chat with to decide if your symptoms need further action. Go to this page and click “Coronavirus Self Checker.”
The bot asks questions about your age and gender, where you’re located, what your symptoms are, and if you’ve had any known contact with infected persons (you can also fill it out on behalf of someone else). It will then suggest a next step — which could be to just stay home, or to call 911. It’s a helpful triage tool to have in your back pocket if you need it.
