How the Wealthy Get Tested for Covid-19

While improvements in test turnaround are on the rise, in New York City it can still take days or weeks for some people to get their test results. But as the New York Times reports, wealthier people are turning to concierge services and small laboratories to get results in as little as 24 hours. “So far, we have tested 12 billionaires,” Dr. Andrew Brooks, chief executive of Infinity BiologiX, a New Jersey-based company that developed a saliva test used by professional athletes, universities and financial institutions, told the Times. “This concern is universal.” Read the full story below.
