America’s Ebola Doctor Offers Advice for Covid-19. The U.S. leadership wasn’t prepared for Covid-19. But there are plenty of doctors and scientists always thinking about pandemics. We spoke to Dr. Bruce Ribner, who you may remember as the doctor who treated Americans with Ebola.

“It is certainly possible to overreact to a potential epidemic, but we seem to be a long way from overreacting to the current epidemic,” he says.
