America’s Vaccination Campaign Begins

The first Covid-19 vaccines were administered in the United States on Monday, marking a historic and hopeful moment in the ongoing pandemic. The overall campaign to get Americans vaccinated against the virus will be a massive undertaking. “I believe this is the weapon that will end the war,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday morning, before Sandra Lindsay, a critical care nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, became the first person vaccinated against the virus in New York.
