What’s it like in Wuhan, China right now? This Bloomberg story is one of the most detailed looks at what daily life is like in Wuhan. The city has reopened with restrictions. People are returning to their offices, but many avoid taking the elevator. While stores and restaurants are open, not many people are visiting.

People in their thirties and forties are dying of strokes. The Washington Post reports that doctors are seeing people with coronavirus infections die from complications like strokes, even if they are not experiencing severe Covid-19 symptoms.

Are women leaders more successful at managing the coronavirus crisis? The Guardian highlights the clear success of countries with women at the top levels of leadership: “From Germany to New Zealand and Denmark to Taiwan, women have managed the coronavirus crisis with aplomb. Plenty of countries with male leaders — Vietnam, the Czech Republic, Greece, Australia — have also done well. But few with female leaders have done badly.”
